Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first television appearances were as Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother played the character. Because of their fear of stress, the parents were not keen to let her pursue acting before turning 18. Perry shy and shy to be a part of the theater in her school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry following her graduation from Boston University moved in New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California for theater roles. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her in 2013 on Broadway in 2013. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was featured nine times on The Family, an ABC film The Family, in 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC political drama Scandal, starring her dad. She played the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. The role was selected via auditions having a strong connection with it.
