Wallen is the child of the pastor Tommy Wallen (father) and Leslie Wallen. Ashlyne Mikaela Lacey and Mikaela are three of his sisters. His parents adopted Lacey in 2021. Wallen began singing in his church as a child and also took piano and violin lessons.
