Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she started her career as an actress on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She then acted in a number of Broadway productions before she became the most famous on stage alongside Li'l Abner in. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina during the same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was a huge hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. At the time, she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned her name as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was 28 August 1965, in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto where she lived throughout her early years. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
