Hayley is an American actress and singer. Many people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She considers herself to be a musician first and foremost. Music, according her, is the first thing she enjoys. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she was 12, music became serious enough for her to start training professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was only 14 when she released her first collection of cover songs. From that moment on, she has never been back. Orrantia was raised in the USA and yet she has Hispanic origins. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico She is strongly proud of her Hispanic culture. To keep her heritage, she's learned Spanish and created songs using the language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was chosen out of the submission of a YouTube video and was awarded 4 "yes" votes from the jury during the live audition phase at Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was an individual performer. However, after "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were put in an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated during the 5th week in the Live program.
